The primary challenge for the participants will be to cook three edible meals, outdoors, backwoods style. They may also choose to bivouac!
The weekend will be held at the Overstone Scout Activity Centre.
Participants will only be allowed to take onto the camping ground what they can carry in their pockets, with the exception of a sleeping bag.
Participants will work in small teams, of no more than six. Each team (of whatever size) must be accompanied by a Leader holding an appointment that is current on 17 February 2018.
Each team will start the weekend with 1000 points, points will be won and lost over the course of the weekend, the final tally will be announced at 11:00 on Sunday.
Teams may exchange points for goods, there will be some central kit to make life easier that may be hired on a first come first served basis.
If the participants want to camp they can, but that would cost points.
The weekend will be open to all Scouts, Explorers and Network members.
Entries are welcomed from individuals as well as Groups or Units, provided that the Nights Away and InTouch rules are followed.
